The only way you will be able to lose the most weight possible is if you do all of these. If you pick and chose you may still lose weight but not as much as you could.
I put this together because over the past 5 years I have seen so many people struggle with their weight and I wanted to do what I could to help.
This is first because everyone HATES to have to get rid of something. Yet this is the most important.
So guess what you have to do…
Eliminate carbohydrates COMPLETELY for a week!
Some of you are probably in shock and thinking WTF! Losing weight isn’t easy and you are going to have to give up a few things to get it done.
So for a full week, you need to do this and yes it will be a challenge but you need to stick to it and get it done!
Obviously losing weight is not easy. If it was there would not be personal trainers, there wouldn’t be shows helping people lose weight. None of this would exist because it would be something easy that anyone could figure out.
I bet you are wondering, well then what can I eat if you are telling me to get rid of the “good stuff”.
Well, you need to eat lean protein and those leafy greens your parents always tried to get you to eat.
2. Drink Water
Drink water before a meal. Drinking water will boost your metabolism by up to 30% over 1.5 hours. Doing this will help you burn more calories than if you don’t drink water at all. Also drinking water helps your body think its full making you not, want to eat as much.
3. Eat Breakfast!
I have noticed that I have more energy for my day when I eat breakfast than when I skip it. A great thing to eat in the morning is eggs. What is nice is when I have eggs in the morning I don’t feel that need to eat which helps you to eat fewer calories in the day which will aid in weight loss.
4. Drink Green Tea
Green tea has been used as a medicine for thousands of years! It originated in China and has been used for many things. Those things it is used for include:
- Diabetes- Helps regulate glucose levels
- Heart Disease- Some say it lines the blood vessels as well as protects against clots
- Some Cancers- Some say it can kill cancer cells without damaging healthy tissue
- Cholesterol- Reduces bad cholesterol
- Tooth Decay- A chemical in tea can destroy bacteria
- Skin Care- Helps against the sign of aging
- Depression- Theanine found in tea leaves provides a relaxing effect
- Weight Loss- Increases Metabolism
5. Use Smaller Plates
This does not work for everyone but typically speaking if you use smaller plates you are not able to put as much food on them. This makes it so that you eat fewer calories.

8. Carry Weights
So you don’t just want to lose weight. You want to build muscle and become toned as well so the best way to do that is to use weights as resistance. You can put ankle weights on when you go for a walk or you can use small weights when doing your exercises above.
9. Eat Fruits and Vegetables
Fruits and vegetables are great for weight loss. Not only do they have fewer calories than anything else you might eat, but they have high water content The high water content makes them extremely filling making you not want to overeat.
10. Get 30 Minutes more sleep
I always joke with my family and when they say they are tired I sing this song:
Even though I joke with them about sleep you do want to get a good amount of it.

You want to get roughly 8 hours of sleep to feel refreshed and ready to go. If you get under 7 you can start to feel run down and at the very least you will get sick. Too much sleep, on the other hand, isn’t good either. 10+ hours and you will feel the same way very tired. So make sure you are getting 7.5-9 hours of sleep and you notice a bump in your energy level.
Bonus: 1. Eat Healthy Foods To Curb Your Food Addiction
If you are finding yourself wanting to eat, then keep healthy foods around to eat. These snacks need to be healthy options such as fruits and vegetables, yogurt, or even hard boil some eggs. Some of these are high in protein which is good because protein helps you maintain and lose weight. There are many other benefits of protein such as supporting your muscles and bones, stabilizes your blood sugar levels, helping you concentrate, and reducing brain fog!
Bonus: 2. Cut Caffeine and Unnecessary Sugars!
Stay Away From Sugars
Keep a well-balanced diet. If you don’t and you have one that is high in sugar while low in fiber content you will cause your blood sugar to become very erratic. What this does is it makes you feel tired and unenergetic.
